1,500% Increase in Site Traffic & Google 1st Page Visibility

For 65 years, Carpenter Costin relied on traditional marketing and word of mouth referrals to attract new prospects. In recent years, however, the company noticed a considerably down tick in new customer growth. “We found ourselves scrambling for business,” said Paul Marsan, president of Carpenter Costin. With sales and prospects declining, Marsan knew the company’s marketing efforts needed to change. They needed to focus on getting found on the Web, so three months ago Marsan came to 2nd Instinct.

When we first began working with Carpenter Costin, the company was minimally using online marketing tactics through it’s website CarpenterCostin.net. Our first goal was to increase their net visibility by designing and implementing a search marketing strategy. We worked on the company’s digital footprint using multiple search engines sites, however our focus and budget were targeted on Google who had over 90 percent of the search market place. Using a customer centric keyword search strategy we:

  1. Designed four Pay-Per-Click online ad campaigns featuring over 33 targeted ads
  2. Created a multiple locations on Google Places to drive local traffic throughout Boston’s North Shore area
  3. Optimized each site landing page by integrating keywords and phrases

We achieved phenomenal results in just 3 months:

  • 2,400 website visitors per month – an increase in site traffic of over 1,500 percent
  • Online ads have generated over 4,000 site visits and 1.5 million search page impressions
  • CarpenterCostin.net has achieved the Google 1st page visibility for our top 6 keywords.

To date our online marketing efforts have generated over 34 new customer appointments and 14 new clients. “At this rate, our only concern will be how to gear up to handle the wealth of work we anticipate receiving as a result of these efforts,” said Marsan.
